This site contains the Huguely Family Tree, which traces the genealogy of the Huguely family beginning with Matthew Huguely (1829 – 1891) and Amie Keene (1830 – 1907), both of Richmond, Kentucky. The Huguely Family Tree also includes the families of Matthew’s brother, George, and Amie’s brother, (Unknown). The three primary sources of information that were used to generate this family tree were: (1) Huguely Family Census, completed in 1988, (2) Huguely Family Census Update Forms, and (3) Huguely Family Branch Questionnaires.
In August 1998, just prior to the 43rd Huguely Family Reunion in Columbia, Maryland, a hardcopy binder version of the family tree was submitted to the U.S. Library of Congress to be registered as an historical document. A Certificate of Registration was later granted be its Copyright Office.
The Huguely Family Tree, a living document always being updated, is divided into the following categories:

The following paragraphs include brief description of each category:
Huguely Family Tree – This file shows Matthew and Amie’s children (2nd Generation) along with the children of Matthew’s brother, George, and Amie bother, (Unknown), respectively.
Family Tree Directory – This directory contains the birth names of the family members include in the Huguely Family Tree. This directory may be of assistance when attempting to specifically locate a name on the family tree. An “N/A” in the ‘Mother’s Name’ column indicate that the individual is not a direct Huguely descendent (usually a spouse and /of other parent).
Family Branches – These files present the Huguely Family Tree, by individual branch. Each level of the family tree represents another generation, starting with the 2nd generation, except for George, Matthew’s brother, and Amie’s brother. Those two trees start at the 1st generation. A vertical line above a box “|” indicates a direct descendent, while a vertical line below a box “|” indicates offspring. Also, a dash “–” on the side of a box indicates a spouse and/or other parent.
